The Haryana Government on September 01, 2206, has amended its notification dated July 30, 2026 regarding the new property tax system and rates. The revised system will apply from August 1, 2026. Property owners/occupiers are given a two-month option from August 1, 2026 to pay property tax under the earlier notification dated October 11, 2013; thereafter, tax must be paid according to the new system.
Property tax already paid will not be affected for FY 2026-27. Further, arrears and interest relating to FY 2025-26 and earlier will remain unchanged. From FY 2026-27, all properties will be assessed for property tax exclusively under the new notification.
